Guacamole

Experience
Overall the experience has been smooth with this software. Install was straight forward using Cloudron as the base install and installing Guacamole as an app. I have not tried to install Guacamole directly without Cloudron.

Installation
Server Used: Ubuntu Server 24.04.2 LTS
Login as Root

sudo -s

Install Cloudron

wget https://cloudron.io/cloudron-setup
chmod +x ./cloudron-setup
./cloudron-setup
reboot now

use a web browser and enter IP of server
you will need a domain and an API key
After you activate cloudron through your domain and sign in
it should load my.yourdomain.com
navigate to the app store
search for guacamole and install
I chose to use a subdomain
In the settings of Guacamole, under location you can set the subdomain that you want to use.
